Agreements

Terms & Conditions

What Living Heritage Nursery will do for you, and what is expected from you when you join our family.

(Please note that for the purpose of this agreement, the term 'the parent' covers any person with legal responsibility for the child.)

Admittance & Hours

Age of admittance: From 3 months.

Opening Hours: We are open 51 weeks a year, Monday – Friday, 8 am - 6 pm. Closed for one week between Christmas and New Year, and on all Public Holidays. Children must be delivered/collected within the agreed hours to comply with statutory staffing requirements. A late collection fee is charged as applicable.

Registration & Waiting List

To secure a place, an application form must be submitted with a non-refundable booking fee. If a suitable place is not available, your child's details will be added to a waiting list. If we cannot meet the needs of a child, we may have to amend the offer of a place or vary the hours.

Fees & Payments

Full-time sessions are charged for 51 weeks. There is no reduction in fees for non-attendance (family holidays, sickness, or closures due to unforeseen circumstances). Fees are payable monthly in advance, by the 1st of each month.

Late Payments: Unpaid invoices beyond the 1st incur a £20 late payment charge. The child will not be able to attend any further sessions until full payment has been received.

Consumables & Cancellation

Consumables: Government funding covers the educational element only. Additional hours and consumables (snacks, craft materials, etc.) incur a small charge.

Cancellation:1 month's notice or payment in lieu is required to withdraw a child. Changes to booking patterns must be notified by the 10th of the current month.

Sickness & Medicine

We cannot accept a child who is unwell. Parents must notify the setting as soon as possible of any absence. If a child becomes unwell at the setting, we will contact parents. Written permission must be provided before any medication can be administered.

Clothing & Security

Clothing: All items must be clearly marked. We encourage casual clothing suitable for messy play.

Security: Staff will not release children to unfamiliar individuals without prior permission and the unique collection password.

"I confirm that I have read and agree to the terms and conditions for placement, and give my permission for my child to be cared for by Living Heritage Nursery under these terms."
